KLARNA - BE MY ALLY

Following our first project with Klarna (‘Sei wie du es liebst’) in 2020, the ‘Be my Ally’ campaign aimed to create awareness and sensitize society around the LGBTQIA+ community and beyond by highlighting the importance of solidarity and allyship.

Together with Klarna and the local, sustainable jewelry brand Stilnest we created the #BeMyAlly campaign with four talents from the LGBTQIA+ community - launched in October 2021.

The campaign focused on the personal stories, voices and experiences of the individual talents, which resulted in the creation of four personalized pieces of jewelery.

STUDIO O was in charge of the overall campaign concept, creative direction, production, creative bookings and the digital first campaign roll-out as lead agency.

With the campaign we aimed to create awareness around being an Ally even for the community itself. We are long past the point where merely showing people from the LGBTQIA+ community is enough to "cover" diversity and inclusion. Their voices matter! People's stories and experiences within are what sparks our interest, raises our awareness, and inspires us to think differently.

Why jewelry? Jewelry because everyone can wear it - regardless of size, age, affiliation, origin or gender. It is seen at first sight, covers your body and can tell a story. It supports the expression of your personality and makes a statement. The #BeMyAlly collection pieces give you the chance to show that you’re an Ally and part of the movement.
